Cha Mediation Services was founded by Phillip K. Cha.  Phillip brings a calm, even-keeled temperament to the mediation process.  He prides himself on his ability to communicate clearly and build a rapport with people from all walks of life.

Prior to becoming a full-time mediator, Phillip spent his entire career practicing in the labor and employment law field.  It was during this journey that Phillip developed the skills and experience needed to be an effective mediator.

At various points in his career, Phillip has represented Fortune 100 corporations, insureds of employment practices liability insurance carriers, small businesses and everything in between.

While Phillip has primarily represented employers, he also has worked closely with experienced trial attorneys representing both plaintiffs and defendants, which has given him valuable perspective on the realities of trial. He also has established a reputation among the plaintiffs' bar for being a zealous yet cordial and ethical advocate.

Phillip also has extensive experience working with parties and counsel in the Korean-American and Asian-American communities, which has given him a true awareness and appreciation of the cultural dynamics often driving the underlying litigation.
